Ron,

One thing I have lacked in doing is calling my leads. I do not have many so I was focusing on getting more leads. I think that maybe I should focus on talking to the leads I have.

And know what question to ask to get the conversation going will help me to start feeling more comfortable on the phone.

Great post!

Tamra
Article Marketing

Ron you make a great point and truism about business. First don't get frustrated with the slackers they will always exist and second learning how to finding talent is the key to growing a successful business.

Nathan McClure

Hey Ron,

WOW ... what a great article. Talk about a personal primer. Every person considering joining this great industry needs to know what you know.... and some of the people already involved.

Awesome post Ron,

When I get the standard 3-5 business "pitch" calls to me everyday the first thing I look for is are they asking me any questions.

If they are just telling me about how great their product is, comp plan and leaders I tell them I'm not interested because they didn't ask me anything about me.

Thanks,
Bert

As the saying goes, people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. When you first start talking to people you can hear the hesitation in their voices. This is a where you have your first opportunity to start building a relationship, but this is also the place that a lot of people lose the chance because they don't talk about the prospect they talk about themselves.

There is a tipping point in that first encounter, your attitude will decide which side of the point you are going to land.

Thanks for all of the great points and tips (man that sounds like weapons :) ) to consider when talking to our new prospects.

Thanks,
Kathy

This article shares a real vision of what it truly takes to be a leader in this industry. When you let go of all the hype and financial gain it really boils down to how much you listen and help another person achieve greatness.

Being a give is hitting it right on the head. It also takes time for people to believe and trust you which most of us get impatient and can not wait.

Good stuff Ron.

Bob

Fantastic Questions and guidance Ron! Your point about how many people who do Internet Marketing for their branding a business and then sign folks up and do not have much REAL contact is very true in my opinion.

I can easily see you have a talent for free thinking and that you really care about others. I'm proud to retweet and share this article.
