So many times when I talk with a Network Marketer who has just gotten online, they are ready to build their web site, sending people to it as fast as they can because it is such a great opportunity if they would just look at it they would sign up. Ahhhh WRONG! That is just not how it works.
First of all, people do not care about your business. Most network marketers that are online are just looking for a way to market their business, not yours. Second, most Network Marketing companies do not let you mention their name or their products other than in there corporate approved web site that every other distributor in that company has.
Inevitably the next question I get after telling the person this is “Well than I just don’t see how this can work.”That is the 64 thousand dollar question. How can you market online with these two givens? The answer is that you need to help people with their problem and once you have gained their trust they may listen to what you have to say about your business.
This way of thinking is foreign to most new marketers. They just do not see how this can work at all. How can you help someone when you do not know what to do yourself. The answer is you have to learn first. How can you do that? That is a chicken an egg situation. How can I ever get started? Well my friend, you have to have a system and a team that willshow you and teach you. This is not a get rich quick process. You will need to grow yourself in order to help others but with the right system you can take years off of this process.
So if you are new to online network marketing, the first thing you need to do is slow down and study the systems that are out there. There are several good ones and they all have some things in common but the bottom line is you have to be more like George Jetson to market online. The prehistoric approach like Fred Flintstone does not work. It doesn’t work offline either and online you just get ignored.
Be more like George Jetson with the technology and you will be more successful in your progress.
