Being a stay at home mom to my three girls has not been easy and sometimes I find myself yelling when is not NECESSARY. lol
I always like to remind myself to stay patient and only use it as "Tools of Last Resort"

Hey Ron,
Interesting mindset post. I agree it is WAY to easy to get in the habit of doing ineffective things. We are all guilty to some extent. And, usually, we need someone to give that "reality check" when we need it.

Great post on a very valid topic. keep posting great articles like this & I will keep coming back.

Hey Ron,
It's like anything. If you say "I love you" to your significant other TOO MUCH, it looses it's cache.

I would probably either not be alive or in jail if I was not scolded, spanked, punished. It is very effective and necessary, but must be used appropritely.

I do think their is a lack of accoutability for oneself in this day in day age though. Life just isn't fair sometimes therefore there are winners and losers.

Sometimes I would catch myself yelling, I would just have to stop and take a few minutes alone. But generally, I tried to not use that tool very often, like you said, as a Tool of Last Resort. It is not very effective in the long run anyway.
